Recently a chapter of TST held a Satanic Ritual on the steps of the Capital Building in Washington state. While I understand how big this is, and how important things like this are for making sure all religions are on a level playing field; I found this display to be over the top.

I can’t quite put my finger on what my issue with it was, but it just left a bad taste in my mouth. It could be the many years of being indoctrinated by Society that Satanic Rituals are bad. Or if it’s more that fact that I have hated the concepts of Rituals in general for most of my life.

I will say this, with everything going on in society and politics I have decided that I am going to be becoming more of an activist and starting to work my way into politics. There is a need for secular representation that will fight for the people and their basic human rights.
